1-SCOPE

Dismantle 01 unit of above mention Tower Crane for the site above with due consideration to the quality and safety aspects of the proposed development.

2- WORKING METHOD

DISMANTLE OF ABOVE MENTION TOWER CRANE

2.1. Phase 1

Dismantle Using MR220 (TC 1) Tower Crane.

2.2. Phase II

  • Remove of jib section by removing 2 No’s of connecting pin (in 10 to 15m length) Secure and lift the jib section and lower it to the ground.
  • Remove of balancing counterweight, secure and lift the counterweight, and lower it to the ground
  • Remove the A-frame, secure and remove connecting bolt & nuts, and lower the A-Frame to the ground
  • Remove the counter jib with winch, secure & remove connecting pins. Lower the counter jib to the ground.
  • Remove of Slewing assembly, secure, and remove the connecting pin. Lower the Slewing assembly to the ground
  • Remove the mast section secure and removes connecting pins
  • Remove the fixing angles on the foundation

3-WORKING HOURS

Working hours shall be from 08:00 am to 4:00 p.m. Working hours may be extended if the work requires so.

6- PROGRAMME OF WORK

6.1. Carnage

One 1-trailer at a time

All lifting gears with the crane, e.g., chain ropes, slings, shackles, and tools used for dismantling will be inspected thoroughly. Load indicator of the tower crane to be set correctly before hoisting operation. A copy of the tower crane specifications and lifting capacity will be forwarded to you for verification.

6.2. Manpower

To supply a team of riggers and qualified lifting supervisors on-site during dismantling to ensure safety measures are strictly adhered to.

6.3. Safety Measures

  • All workers are on-site to be properly equipped with the safety harness, helmets, etc.
  • Other workers are on-site to be cleared. from the working area and to ensure that no one is working below suspended load.
  • To ensure that the person giving the lifting signal is qualified and that the crane operator understands and can visualize and hear his commands.
  • All items must be checked to ascertain the correct weight before lifting the operation.

7- HOUSEKEEPING

  1. The immediate working area is properly cleared and materials disposed of as per the legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
  2. Tools and equipment are cleaned, checked, maintained and stored following manufacturer recommendations and workplace procedures.
  3. Documentation is completed following workplace requirements.
